Brake piping
Description
The brake piping is a pipe that transmits the pressure generated by the master cylinder to the brake unit.
It connects the master cylinder, ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), brake unit, etc. Since the operating pressure of the brake is high-pressure, double-wound steel pipes with excellent compressive strength are used as the material. The terminals are fitted with high-pressure fittings and bent according to the needs of the customer.
The photo shows a product in which multiple brake pipes are assembled using plastic clips. By delivering assembled products, we have improved the workability of the vehicle assembly line.
More info
- It has excellent compressive strength. (Reference values below)
- Guaranteed pressure: 34.3 MPa (outer diameter Φ4.76 mm, plate thickness 0.7 mm, outer diameter Φ6.35 mm, plate thickness 0.7 mm)
- Breaking pressure: 108 MPa (outer diameter Φ4.76 mm, plate thickness 0.7 mm), 83.3 MPa (outer diameter Φ6.35 mm, plate thickness 0.7 mm)
- The polyamide coat and fluoropolymer coating on the surface of the piping provide excellent corrosion resistance.
- In addition, by applying a polypropylene coating, it has excellent chipping resistance (stepping stones, etc.).
